Unlike the UK and other European countries, Turkey observes a summer shutdown of the construction industry with the benefit of quieter holidays.
In addition, Gulluk closes the main promenade from the village centre to the public beach , from 19:00 until 02:00 the following day, thus creating a pedestrian only zone which is very pleasant for walking and visiting restaurants, cafes and bars.
